
Pastor Buxton serves as founder and Senior Pastor of Agape Bible Fellowship Church. He formerly served as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church North Tulsa, Associate Pastor of Children’s Ministry at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, and as Children’s Church Minister at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is an honors graduate of Langston University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. He earned the M.A. degree in Practical Theology at Oral Roberts University and is currently pursuing the Doctor of Ministry degree in Church Ministries and Leadership at Oral Roberts University.
Pastor Buxton has extensive national preaching and public speaking experience, presenting for such organizations as: The National Children’s and Youth Ministry Convention, Children’s Pastor’s Conference, Phillips Seminary Racial Reconciliation Conference, and the Tulsa Black Singles’ Conference. Pastor Buxton is an adjunct instructor at Tulsa Community College and has served as a guest Chaplain for the Oklahoma State Senate.
He has engaged in ministry in various parts of the United States, Mexico and Africa. He’s received many awards and acknowledgements, including; Olive V. Green Humanitarian Award; Outstanding Alumnus, Langston University, and the Outstanding Young Man of America Award. Pastor Buxton is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and serves as District Overseer of the North Central District for the Oklahoma Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. He is married to the former Ms. Elaine Holland and together they have three adult children and two grandchildren.

Elaine is the Co-founder and First Lady of Agape Bible Fellowship Church. She serves in ministry alongside her
husband as Women’s Ministry Director, Leader of the Spiritual Maturity Team, and as a member of the Music Ministry. She has engaged in ministry in various parts of the United States, Mexico and Malawi, Africa. She is an honors graduate of Langston University, where she was the recipient of the NASA Space Consortium Scholarship and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Elaine also earned a M.A. degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. A seasoned educator, Elaine received the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award from B.F. Darrell Elementary School in Dallas, Texas. She is currently employed with Tulsa Public Schools, where she has served as a teacher, Professional Development Trainer, Instructional Facilitator, and as an Assistant Principal. She currently serves as Principal of Chouteau Elementary School. A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and Kappa Delta Pi Educational Honor Society, Elaine spends time loving her family, mentoring young ladies and minister’s wives and is a frequent speaker for women’s programs and marriage conferences.
